Dr. Franklin Kam, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii, Dr. Franklin S.S. Kam received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1979 from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic where he was a member of Delta Tau Alpha, an honorary fraternity. He associated with a chiropractor in Burbank until 1982, when he opened his private practice in Glendale.

Always looking to gain added expertise in new chiropractic techniques, Dr. Kam became a Certified Team Physician in 1983 (sponsored by the American Chiropractic Association Council on Athletics and Physical Fitness). In 1985, he became a California Chiropractic Association (CCA) Certified Disability Evaluator and, in 1988, a CCA Certified Independent Medical Examiner. In June, 1993, he was appointed a Qualified Medical Evaluator in Chiropractic by the State of California Industrial Medical Council.

Dr. Kam is a member of the California Chiropractic Association. He has served the Verdugo Hills Chiropractic Society as President (1990-1991), Secretary and Vice President (1983-1988), and Treasurer (1991-1992). He has also served on their Ethics committee. Dr. Kam was the chairperson of H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Eat) Day. This was a charity event sponsored by The Los Angeles County Chiropractic Society on Valentine's day whereby California Chiropractic Association members in Los Angeles took in food donations in exchange for chiropractic services to donate to a local food bank. He is a former member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce and the Glendale Sunrise Rotary Club.
